Visit to the Three Eyes
Leaving Santo Domingo, we will stop at Los Tres Ojos, a cavern that has a freshwater lake, divided into three lakes that can only be seen from within and a single lake that can be seen without entering.

The Eye of Sulfur Waters:
This is the first lake we can see since entering. Its name is due to the fact that in the background a bleached substance can be noticed and therefore the people who attended this place thought it was sulfur, but later, scientific studies showed that it was not sulfur but calcium and other minerals.

The Fridge, the second Eye:
It is the second lake we will visit and its name is due to the low temperatures it reaches, since it never receives sunlight. Its temperature ranges between 15 ° C and 21 ° C. There is a kind of wooden boat to cross into the lake 5.4 meters deep.

The third Eye, Lake of the Ladies:
It is the third lake and its name is because it was previously used as a spa. Due to its discreet location and being shallow, it was reserved for women and children.
